Healthcare reform is pushing LTPAC providers into a value-based payment environment. To remain competitive, we must offer high level quality care, do so with great efficiency and be able to prove our performance with accurate data and analytics. Any LTPAC provider who ignores the current changes in the healthcare system will be left behind and likely fail.
This new focus on value-based care is leading to new forms of reimbursement such as bundled payments with and without risk sharing, and to the development of “narrow” networks of high quality LTPAC providers. LTPAC providers need unobstructed access to their clinical, financial and ancillary data together with strong analytic tools to optimize the quality of care and financial performance. Only with metrics can we position ourselves as attractive partners to the rest of the healthcare system.
The Los Angeles Jewish Home together with its software partner, Stratus Interoperable, will share with you how they have overcome the barriers to data access, integration and analytics.
