As the leading source for research on and for the hospitality and related service industries, the Cornell Center for Hospitality Research (CHR) brings together faculty, corporate partners, and other industry leaders to develop new ideas, theories, and models that improve strategic, managerial, and operating practices.

On October 8–9, 2012, CHR invites representatives from industry and academe to the 2nd Cornell Hospitality Research Summit, at the beautiful campus of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. The Summit’s theme is “Service Excellence and Performance Growth in the Global Hospitality Industry: Strategies and Approaches for Navigating Forward.” This theme was chosen to allow the industry to take maximum advantage of the world’s economic recovery and renewed interest in tourism.

The summit will feature two keynote panels, one with C-level executives and the other with Deans from top universities. These keynote panels and all presentations will offer actionable research or solutions for the global hospitality industry.
