Denise Kissell

Denise Kissell is a 1999 graduate of The Ohio State University Dental Hygiene program and has been a practicing dental hygienist since graduation. She received her Master of Public Health degree in 2004, also from The Ohio State University, and joined the College of Dentistry faculty full-time in 2006. Ms. Kissell is involved in several first year dental hygiene courses including Pre-Clinic Instrumentation, Radiology, Special Populations and Community Dental Health. In addition, she is the director of the dental hygiene and Continuing Education EFDA curriculums. Outside of classroom teaching, Ms. Kissell is a dental hygienist in the Dental Faculty Practice, is the coordinator for dental hygiene outreach, advisor to the dental hygiene class officers and is a CPR instructor.
