Workshop registration fees

  • Participant registration fee: US$744.00
  • Late registration fee (for registrations made after 2 January 2021): US$794.00

Workshop cancellation policy

  • For any cancellation occurring 22 days or more prior to the first day of the workshop, a full refund of any registration fees paid will be credited to your school account, which can be used toward other IB invoices. Credit card payments will be refunded to the same card used at registration. If your school requires other refund arrangement, please contact myaccount@ibo.org quoting the invoice number and event name. 
  • For cancellations made 21 days or less before the first day of the workshop, a penalty of 100% of the fee will apply. 
  • We recognize that many participants must travel to attend IB regional workshops. The IB expects registrants to make every reasonable effort to report to the workshop for which they have registered. Please be aware if the workshop is held, no refunds or credits shall be issued for difficulties encountered in transit. Participants are encouraged to purchase a travel insurance plan designed to protect the traveler from losses resulting from sudden and unexpected conditions or events. 
  • The IB reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. The IB will endeavour to give participants as much advance notice as possible of any change to their enrollment. In the unlikely event that the IB has to cancel a workshop, the total amount of the registration fee will be refunded or a credit note will be issued.
  • The IB cannot be held responsible for any travel costs (flights, visas, hotel, etc.). Please keep this in mind when making travel arrangements.

Workshop late registration and change policies

  • Registrations made after 2 January 2021 will be charged a late fee of US$50.00 per registrant.
  • All late registrations and on-site change requests are subject to space being available in the desired workshop. The IB reserves the right to refuse any late registration or on-site change requests.

Workshop waitlist policy

  • A waitlist is available for workshops that are at capacity. If a place becomes available, the first person on the waitlist will be notified and given four calendar days to register. If a registration is not made within the allotted time, the next person on the waitlist will be given the opportunity to register. The cancellation policy applies to all completed registrations. 
  • The waitlist closes 21 days before the event and at that time anyone still on the waitlist will be notified and directed to other professional development opportunities. 

Payment Details

Participants who are not from IB World Schools can only pay online by credit card while registering. The following payment options are available for IB World School participants.

  • For payments by credit card, please pay online while registering, or log back in to your registration using the link included in your confirmation email and entering your email address and registration number. Click on "Modify" and proceed until you reach the payment page.
  • For payments by wire transfer, please contact IB Answers for required banking details at ibaconference@ibo.org.
  • For payments by cheque, PO or money order, you must submit a printed invoice with payment to the address below.
