Colloquium - from Latin colloqui 'to converse', from col- 'together' + loqui 'to talk'.  A colloquium is a series of scientific lectures, which presents themes in a balanced program designed by the organizers to encourage deeper, more reflective, and more interdisciplinary thinking and discussion.  Registrants are discouraged from attending only specific talks but instead to participate fully and contribute to the discussions following the talks which can be as valuable as the lectures themselves.  We hope that you plan to attend the entire colloquium.

Student Fellows Symposium is from 8:30 am - 7:30 pm on Monday, March 12, 2018.

Colloquium talks begin at 9:00 am on Tuesday, March 13 and end at 5 pm on Wednesday, March 14.

We recommend that you book flights to either Reagan National Airport (DCA) airport, which is just a few miles from the conference and hotel locations, or Dulles International Airport (IAD) which will offer more options for flight times and carriers.

If you arrive via Amtrak, please use Union Station.  From there, local metro or taxis can take you to the conference and hotel locations.
