Course Summary:This is an essential two-day training opportunity for public safety leaders responsible for preventing crises whenever possible, and being prepared to communicate effectively when “It” hits the fan.
The crisis communications component of this training is taught by Gerard Braud, who brings to his teaching 15 years of experience as a journalist and over 20 years of experience specializing in helping organizations communicate more effectively through media training, crisis communications plans, and employee-manager training.
The risk management component of this training is taught by Gordon Graham, a 33 year veteran of law enforcement, attorney, and nationally-recognized leader in risk management for public safety. His innovative training programs are the standard for any organization that wants to improve existing operations and prevent things from going wrong.
These instructors are uniquely qualified to aid public safety leaders in taking pro-active steps to identify possible crises, take immediate action to limit foreseeable risks and be prepared to communicate effectively in the face of crisis in a way that serves the department, the employees and the public.
