Welcome to the CTCA Forum: Introduction to Cancer Diagnostics & Treatment for Primary Care Physicians. The goal of the program is to efficiently discuss the continuum of care and present the clinical advantages of an integrative approach for patients with cancer. This CME program offers primary care providers the opportunity to further their knowledge in the ever-changing field of cancer care on the topics of cancer screening, diagnosis and treatment.
As part of the kickoff for our new, innovative Primary Care Program, we invite you to join a diverse group of participants to expand your knowledge for patients with cancer from experts in this field.
After attending the Introduction To Cancer Diagnostics & Treatment For Primary Care Physicians educational activity, the learner will be able to:
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Primary health care providers involved in the care of patients with cancer, including primary care physicians, resident trainees, physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
Your registration fee includes tuition, continental breakfast, coffee break, lunch and CME/CE certificate:
$35.00 for Physicians (MD/DO), Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
$25.00 for Fellows and Residents
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). Health Education Group is accredited to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
This live activity, Introduction To Cancer Diagnostics & Treatment For Primary Care Physicians is anticipated to be acceptable for up to 6.00 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Approval for AAFP CME credit does not imply authorization to use the AAFP logo on CME activity materials or to use AAFP’s name in any association with the activity other than the credit statement.
Physician Assistant and AMA/AAFP Equivalency:
AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
