Tim M. Freudenberger, Founding Partner and Chair of CDF’s Class Action Defense Litigation Practice Group, Carothers DiSante & Freudenberger LLP.  Freudenberger represents California and national employers in all aspects of labor and employment law and related litigation, with a special emphasis on defending class action wage and hour lawsuits, class action employment discrimination lawsuits, PAGA actions, and other complex litigation matters.  For nearly two decades, Freudenberger has repeatedly obtained dismissals and defeated class certification through strategic techniques in discovery and motion practice.  Freudenberger is an experienced trial attorney, having litigated class actions and PAGA claims through trial.  His successful defense work on Duran v. U.S. Bank, which resulted in a significant victory before the California Supreme Court, helped shape class certification and trial principles throughout California.

Williams aggressively defends California employers in all employment related matters in both state and federal courts.  With more than 15 years of experience, Williams counsels employers in the day-to-day difficulties of operating a business in California, and litigates those matters that cannot be prevented or resolved.  Williams represents employers in single plaintiff actions alleging claims, such as discrimination, retaliation, harassment and wrongful termination, as well as class actions.  She is an experienced class action attorney, with a special emphasis on the defense of wage and hour class and collective actions and PAGA claims.  Williams is one of the few attorneys who has litigated a PAGA claim through trial.
