How secure is your business from known and emerging cyber threats?

WEAF and the Aerospace Industry as a whole are acutely aware of the importance of Cyber Security and the impact that insufficient safeguards against cyber-attacks can have on the effective functioning of businesses.

Recent high profile attacks on big companies such as TalkTalk, the political campaigns in the US and France, and the NHS, have highlighted the vulnerability of IT systems previously thought to be totally secure.

Most large companies now insist on a formal declaration from their new suppliers to demonstrate that appropriate cyber security measures are put in place before a contract can be signed. The UK MoD “Cyber Essentials” initiative is a case in point.

Why should you attend?

You should attend if you want to hear what needs to be done to protect your business interests, prevent unwanted cyber-attacks on your data, and understand the legal implications for your business and reputation. You will learn the importance of prevention rather than cure. You will learn what is expected of you if you want to enter into contracts with major international companies or the MOD. We will provide detailed practical advice from the MOD, Thales, Atkins, Airbus Defence and Space and other independent experts.
