The threat of a cyberattack on your IT system is ever-present, growing, and constantly changing. Join Jonathan Meyer and Townsend Bourne as they open this virtual class series by discussing the types of cyber threats currently lurking out there – the varied attackers, modes of attack, and vulnerabilities being exploited. They will also discuss the types of data at issue, the sensitivities they bring, and what happens to data once it’s compromised. Finally, this class will briefly introduce participants to the array of cyber laws, regulations, orders and contract provisions that affect federal contractors and will serve as the guideposts for much of the rest of the course.
