Please join us for another discussion in our Day in the Life series, which are offered as part of the Candidate Associate Membership.
Candidate members will have the opportunity to meet with professionals from a variety of sectors within the finance profession to learn how they achieved their current success, the steps they took to attain their position, and advice for candidates seeking a similar role. Questions are encouraged, so please come prepared to be involved in an interactive discussion.
Space is limited and registration is on a first come first served basis. Any registrants who do not attend the event without prior notification will not be able to register for future Day in the Life discussions.

Kelly Galway, P.Eng., CFA
Kelly Galway is a trader and quantitative developer at Powerex Corp, a subsidiary of BC Hydro. In his current role Kelly trades physical electricity for real-time delivery across the Western Interconnect and creates interactive web-based quantitative tools to assist forward financial transmission trading in the California market using modern programming languages. Prior to working at Powerex, Kelly worked as a resource planning engineer at BC Hydro where he was responsible for coordinating the optimization of BC Hydro’s hydroelectric assets on the Peace and Columbia Rivers, and BC Hydro’s natural gas generation.
Kelly holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia, is a Professional Engineer, and holds the CFA designation.
