Why Attend?

This event will consider what we have learned since the Francis Report into the failings at Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust. The report highlighted “appalling suffering”, and whilst not directed at radiographers, we are compelled as healthcare professionals and as human beings to do better.

Join us for an interactive day to discuss our individual and organisational responsibilities. Do we understand what ‘best compassionate care’ looks like? Are there barriers to its delivery? Have we grasped the importance of demonstrating compassion for our colleagues?

Together we will assemble resources to foster a culture of values based recruitment and practice.

This course is suitable for everyone, including students, assistant practitioners and managers. It is equally applicable to independent providers of radiographic services and to those working in the NHS.

Attendees will have a rare opportunity to question and learn from an expert panel who are leading the way in evidence-based practice within radiography and the wider healthcare arena.
