Designed Intelligence Workshop with Dr. Dan Fogel

Join us for a members only breakfast series where small group learning allows for interactive, workshop style sessions.

Many of the problems we face require a human- centered, creative, and practical approach to finding the best ideas and ultimate solutions.  Leaders look to innovation as a driving source of differentiation and competitive advantage, and they increasingly apply design thinking to ensure innovation is powered by a thorough understanding of what people want and need in their lives.  This approach is a disciplined way to solve problems using a designer’s mindset and methods to match peoples’ needs with what is technically feasible, viable, humanly desirable, and conducive to life.  Many of the world’s most successful brands create breakthrough ideas that are inspired by a deep understanding of consumers’ lives and use the principles of design to innovate and build value (Harvard Business Review).

This two-hour session will introduce you to design thinking and design methods.  We'll use an extensive exercise to make the key learning points.  Come prepared to be involved and to engage in some new and exciting ways to think about your organization.
