    Exporting a Catalog for Print 

    The Acalog Advanced Certification is intended for Managers in Acalog and will prepare attendees for the corresponding Acalog Advanced Certification test. This session is intended for those who have already completed the Acalog Basic Certification and presumes that attendees are already familiar with Acalog terminology and workflows

    This session will be a step-by-step demonstration of the Catalog Export process, beginning with reviewing the content to be exported, all the way through editing the exported document. We will discuss the key elements needed to perform a Catalog export as well as best practice recommendations. Additionally, we’ll discuss how to use the Export Module to export specific sections of catalog content instead of the entire catalog.

    Gateway & Content Module with WYSIWYG Fundamentals

    The Acalog Basic Certification is intended for less experienced users of Acalog and will focus on the fundamentals of the Acalog Publisher to prepare you for the Acalog Basic Certification Test.

    In the first session, we will present an introduction to basic terms and concepts used in Acalog as well as the fundamental elements of the WYSIWYG editor, which is used throughout Acalog. Additionally, we will explore the Gateway & Content Module which includes the navigation of your Gateway and elements that appear within it, with emphasis on pages of narrative content such as Academic Policies or a Message from the President.

    Export & Import Courses for Bulk Changes

    The Acalog Advanced Certification is intended for Managers in Acalog and will prepare attendees for the corresponding Acalog Advanced Certification test. This session is intended for those who have already completed the Acalog Basic Certification and presumes that attendees are already familiar with Acalog terminology and workflows.

    In this session, we will demonstrate how to add and edit courses to the catalog in bulk using the Export and Courses Import Modules. We will demonstrate the full process of exporting and importing courses and discuss our recommended best practices for a successful import.

In this session, we will explore uses for Filters beyond a basic list of courses and/or programs. We’ll discuss how to establish permissions to allow more Editors to assist you in editing the catalog while also empowering you to review their changes using Version Auditing. Lastly, we’ll review additional features that can be used to enhance your e-catalog and share examples from various Institutions using these features.

    Curriculog Workshop

    The Curriculog workshop is *not* a presenter-led session. Instead, attendees will be able to choose their own topic and work at their own pace in this freeform, hands-on session. Attendees will have access to a training site with Walk-Thrus designed for the DigarcU Workshops. All members of the training team will be present to assist attendees and answer questions. Trainer-led demonstrations will be provided as needed if there are overlapping or frequently asked questions during the workshop.

    *Note: this session is limited to 50 attendees and a computer is required. Pre-registrations are preferred but walk-ins are welcome to join up to the session limit.*

    Acalog Basic Certification Session 1
    The Acalog Basic Certification is intended for less experienced users of Acalog and will focus on the fundamental components of the Acalog Publisher to prepare you for the Acalog Basic Certification Test. In the first session, we will present an introduction to basic terms and concepts used in Acalog as well as the fundamental elements of the WYSIWYG editor, which is used throughout Acalog. Additionally, we will explore the Gateway & Content Module which includes the navigation of your Gateway and elements that appear within it, with emphasis on pages of narrative content such as Academic Policies or a Message from the President. Note: this session is a repeat of information delivered in certification training on Sunday; the information in this session will be condensed to allow for the shorter time block of regular conference sessions.

    The Acalog Basic Certification is intended for less experienced users of Acalog and will focus on the fundamental components of the Acalog Publisher to prepare you for the Acalog Basic Certification Test. In the second session, we will explore curricular content. We will discuss options for managing course content, inclusive of controlling the courses template. Additionally, we will demonstrate a complete program build and discuss the potential use of shared cores within programs.
