Digital Fundraising Strategies (Academic)

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

We invite you and your team members to participate in this complimentary, one-day workshop to learn all things digital!

The workshop focuses on applying the Bentz Whaley Flessner (BWF) Digital Fundraising Model. This model is a logical and practical framework on which to build a digital fundraising strategy that provides guidance to various functional areas within your development operations, including alumni relations, annual giving, major giving, planned giving, stewardship, and events.

The day is comprised of two sessions. The morning session focuses on teaching the Digital Fundraising Model as it relates to higher education fundraising. The afternoon session is a hands-on application of the Digital Fundraising Model where groups will work to build several campaigns for an alumni audience.

In the weeks following the workshop, our workshop facilitator also provides an hour of strategic one-on-one phone time with each participating institution. The purpose is to outline each institution’s planned next steps and determine what, if any, support you may need.

Learning Objectives:
• Build support for and a common understanding of digital best practices and possibilities.
• Enable individual institutions with the ability to develop an institution-specific program.

Online Registration Deadline: Thursday, November 30
