Are you interested in the potential of game-based education? Have you heard the buzzword “gamification” and wondered what it was all about? This informal session will be a discussion for those interested in game-based education and gamification. We’ll spend the first half hour discussing what those terms mean and how they’re being implemented in post-secondary education, followed by a half-hour discussion about the potential of gamification and game-based education at MacEwan. If there is enough interest based on this session, we will form a community of practice (COP) around gamification and game-based education in 2017-2018.
