Call for Abstracts

The AADR Rochester Section 2017 meeting will be held in conjunction with the Centennial Celebration and will include poster sessions.  There will be no oral presentations for 2017.

Call for Abstracts
All researchers are cordially invited to submit an abstract for either the competition or the non-competition category of the scientific program.

All residents currently enrolled in any of the EIOH residency programs are invited to submit an abstract for the competition category of the clinical category.

AADR membership is not required.

**Abstract Deadline: Friday, April 14, 2017 at 5:00 PM EDT.  Late and/or revised abstracts will not be accepted.**
Competition Categories
The Basil G. Bibby Award will be given for outstanding scientific merit among poster presentations by non-degree candidates (i.e., technical staff, international dental students, residents, and those not currently enrolled in a M.S./Ph.D. program).
The Michael G. Buonocore Award will be given for outstanding scientific merit among poster presentations by degree candidates (i.e., those currently enrolled in a M.S. or Ph.D. program).
The Bowen Award will be given for outstanding scientific merit among poster presentations by candidates in postdoctoral programs.

Previous award winners are not eligible to compete within the same category.

Non-competition Category:
Abstracts may be submitted for a non-competitive poster presentation of a basic science or clinical research project.  All faculty, staff, postdoctoral, graduate trainees, and other meeting attendees with interests in oral, dental, and craniofacial research are invited to participate.

Abstract Submission:
Please contact Ms. Kathy Bohn (Kathy_Bohn@urmc.rochester.edu) if you are interested in submitting an abstract.  All abstracts are to be submitted in accordance with AADR/IADR format. Abstracts must be received by 5:00 PM EDT on April 14, 2017.  All abstracts will be reviewed by a Review Committee for acceptance.
