Do you wish you didn’t have to talk so much in class? Are you tired of repeatedly answering the same questions term after term? Screencasting is the process of recording videos of whatever is on your computer screen, along with your voice, video or both. Creating short screencast videos is almost as easy as writing an email or posting lengthy messages in Blackboard (honestly), and can be used to record lectures, create FAQs, go over assignment instructions, and more! Screencasting can save you time, and more importantly, transform your classroom in a variety of ways. Come join us for an hour to learn how to make a screencast, and talk about different ways that you can use screencasts to transform your teaching practice.
