We understand that the weather has impacted travel for many of you who have registered for the 2018 EATA Annual Conference. I wanted to inform you that the EATA Executive Board met this morning to discuss our plan of action for weather-related cancellations. For this conference only, the following policies have been approved by the Board:
-Members who were unable to attend any Friday workshops or the Educators Conference are eligible for a refund of the cost of registration, less 5% for processing and accounting fees.
-Members who are unable to attend the general conference will have their registration applied for the 2019 Conference.
**YOU MUST ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS*
In order to receive a refund for Friday events or have your registration for 2018 applied to the 2019 Conference, you must cancel your registration before the end of the 2018 Conference, Monday January 8, 2018, at 11:59 PM ET. Instructions for canceling are as follows:
-Go to your registration confirmation email and select the link that states modify or cancel registration.
-This will take you to the registration website where you will have to enter your confirmation number, which is found within the confirmation email.
-If you cannot find your confirmation number, please email webmaster@goeata.org to obtain your confirmation number.
-You are still responsible for cancelling after you obtain your number.
**This is the only method to cancel your registration.

Thank you for your patience and commitment to the EATA. The EATA Executive Board has evaluated the weather and has determined to delay the start of events on Friday, January 5th. The Friday adjustments are as follows:
Workshop A – 11:00am–8:00pm, Hampton (3rd FL) American Red Cross CPR/AED/FA Certification Course
Workshop B – 11:00am–12:00pm, Berkeley (3rd FL) EBP WORKSHOP: Sport-Related Concussion Standard of Care Guidelines that Incorporate the 5th International Consensus Conference on Concussion in Sport (2016) Recommendations
Workshop C – 11:00am-1:00pm, ROOM TBD Maximizing Employee Talents and Retention: Instituting Value Driven Leadership

You will then have two weeks after you register on-line to submit your check to the EATA Treasurer. Refund PolicyAll cancellations received prior to December 15th will be refunded less 5% for processing and accounting procedures. All cancellations received from December 16th until the 31st will be refunded less 20% for processing and accounting procedures. Any cancellations made after December 31st, WILL NOT be refunded. All refund/cancellation requests must be made through the registration web site using your confirmation code. Voice mail messages will not be honored.
