The Eccles Institute of Human Genetics (EIHG) houses and or administers support to the University of Utah’s Department of Human Genetics, The Molecular Medicine Program, The Howard Hughes Medical Institute, The Genetic Science Learning Center, The Graduate Program in Genetic Counseling, The Molecular Biology Program, The Center for Human Genome Research Program and The Genomic Medicine/Personalized Health Care Program.

The institute is in close proximity to research labs at L.S. Skaggs Pharmacy, Biomedical Polymers Research Bldg, E. E. Jones Medical Science Bldg, Comparative Medicine Ctr, Ezekiel R. & Edna Dumke Bldg, Maxwell Wintrobe Research Bldg, Huntsman Cancer Institute and Building 550.

FUNDING:  To date for 2016, The University of Utah has been awarded 283 grants and $107,757,880 in funding from the NIH.
