The U.S. Department of State’s EducationUSA network invites representatives from accredited U.S. higher education institutions (HEIs) to participate in the EducationUSA South & Central Asia (SCA) Regional Forum this January 31 - February 3, 2018 in Kathmandu, Nepal. EducationUSA regional forums provide opportunities for representatives of U.S. higher education institutions to meet with EducationUSA professionals to discuss strategies for increasing the recruitment and retention of international students on U.S. campuses. They also strengthen EducationUSA advisers’ professional skills and provide them with valuable networking opportunities. All participants attend panels and skills workshops on a diverse range of topics led by U.S. government officials, U.S. higher education professionals, and EducationUSA overseas staff.

As an international higher education professional, you will learn from over 75 expert EducationUSA advisers about student mobility trends and recruitment opportunities in the SCA region for both undergraduate and graduate students. You will also have the opportunity to update advisers on current higher education issues. Additional programming during the event will provide opportunities for U.S. higher education representatives to network with U.S. Embassy personnel and leading educators. Registrants will also have the opportunity to participate in an EducationUSA college fair in Nepal.
