The U.S. Department of State’s EducationUSA network invites U.S. higher education (HEI) representatives to participate in the EducationUSA Western Hemisphere (WHA) Regional Forum this May 2017 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. EducationUSA regional forums provide opportunities for representatives of U.S. institutions of higher education to convene and share strategies for increasing the recruitment and retention of international students on U.S. campuses. They also strengthen EducationUSA Advisers’ professional skills and provide them with valuable networking opportunities. All participants attend panels and skills workshops on a diverse range of topics led by U.S. government officials, U.S. higher education professionals, and EducationUSA overseas staff.

As an international higher education professional, you will learn from over 90 expert EducationUSA Advisers about student mobility trends and recruitment opportunities in the WHA region for both undergraduate and graduate students. You will also have the opportunity to update Advisers on current higher education issues. Additional programming during the event will provide opportunities for U.S. higher education representatives to network with U.S. Embassy personnel and leading educators.
