VIRTUAL WORKSHOP PARTICIPANT CANCELLATION POLICIES

Cancellations

To cancel your registration and be eligible for a refund of workshop fees, you must notify the Center of Excellence in Industrial Biotechnology in writing.  Please e-mail Wendy Oakes (woakes@psu.edu). 

• If a Virtual incentive is offered for the program, your registration cancellation will invalidate the incentive.
• Workshop fees may be refunded, less an administrative fee of $244, if written notification is received at least 10 business days before the start of the first virtual session.
• No refund will be issued if your written notification is received after distribution of the first set of workshop materials.The materials distribution date is 5 business days before the date of the first virtual session.
• The credit card used for your registration is the only credit card that will receive the refund.  No cash or checks are disbursed for a registration charged to a credit card.
  
  

Substitutions

• Substitutions may be made up to 5 business days before the date of the first virtual session or prior to the distribution of workshop materials.  Notify the Center of Excellence in Industrial Biotechnology in writing.Please send an e-mail to Wendy Oakes (woakes@psu.edu).  Please include the name and email for the person that will use your registration.

CANCELLATION

The Center of Excellence in Industrial Biotechnology reserves the right to cancel a professional development workshop no less than 10 business days in advance of the scheduled start date.  You will be notified by the Center of Excellence in Industrial Biotechnology if a workshop is cancelled and will receive a full refund of registration fees paid.  The Center of Excellence in Industrial Biotechnology is not responsible for other costs incurred due to cancellation.
