Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)

Summary

Acute illness and trauma are the leading causes of unnecessary death in the paediatric population. In response to this, the Emergency Nurses Association has developed a comprehensive course to teach nurses the various aspects of paediatric emergency nursing care. The course is intended to expand the knowledge base and technical skills of the nurse to care for children in the emergency setting. It includes lectures and didactic skill stations. ENPC is a credited education course brought to Canada through the National Emergency Nurses Association (NENA). This course was written and designed by nurses highly skilled in the care of children within the emergency setting.
