Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) Challenge May 23, 2017

This is a special 1-day challenge, for the 4th Edition ENPC Provider course.
Goal: Successful completion of the “challenge” process for experienced emergency department or pediatric nurses that demonstrates competencies in the exit objectives of the Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) in order to gain certification or recertification through the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA).

This course is intended for licensed RNs who work in the emergency care setting (at least six months of experience recommended). Other health care providers may audit the course on a space-available basis without receipt of Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) verification.

The Emergency Nurses Association will issue a card verifying the successful completion of the ENPC course. Expiration of the verification will occur four years from issue date.

Continuing Education

EMS Continuing Education
The EMSLRC awards 8 CEHs for qualifying EMS providers.

Nursing Continuing Education
This course is held in cooperation with the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Department of Nursing, an Iowa Board of Nursing approved provider Number 34. Full time attendance to this program will award 0.69 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for full time attendance to this program.
