Emergency Response Forum: Public / Private Partnerships

Emergency Response Forum: Public/Private Partnerships

Public-private partnerships enhance hazard mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery programs in communities by pooling of resources, know-how and expertise. Come together December 10-11, 2019 to discuss practices, share learnings, and explore how preparedness efforts in both the public and private sectors may be further supported. Two tours will be offered on December 11:

a. A tour of the Houston Emergency Center and Harris
County’s TranStar EOC and JIC for those interested in
understanding how to leverage resources of multiple
agencies to provide transportation and emergency
management services; and

b. A tour of two local facilities during which participants will
have the opportunity to participate in emergency response
discussions and demonstrations.

Partner Organizations:
Harris County Precinct 2, API, ILTA, EHCMA, TXOGA

Who Should Attend?
