About

April 25, 2018
9:00am - 12:30pm
(Breakfast and check-in will begin at 8:30am)

We are pleased to announce CNM’s 2018 Southern California Nonprofit Employers Summit!

The only opportunity to hear the results of CNM’s annual Compensation and Benefits survey as well as engage in a discussion with nonprofit sector Human Resources professionals and experts around current workplace, compensation and benefits practices and trends.

The payroll line item is likely by far the largest expense in your organization’s budget – we can’t do our work, deliver on our missions without talented, dedicated people! Keeping pace with the employment marketplace is a challenge, and people are clearly our greatest asset. At the Employers Summit, we’ll reveal the findings of the 2018 Compensation and Benefits Report as well as engage in discussions with human capital experts around current workplace, local compensation and benefits issues and trends, organizational structures, and realistic approaches to attracting and retaining a skilled, motivated workforce.

At this all-day Summit, you'll learn about:

  • Current nonprofit sector compensation and benefit trends in Southern California
  • Trends in re-definition and creative approaches to job definitions and organizational structures
  • Strategies and insights about understanding and working smarter and more sensitively with workplace culture

Who should attend?
  • CEOs & Executive Directors
  • COOs & Administrative Directors
  • HR Professionals
  • Board Finance Committee members

Registration Fee: $195

Make the most of your learning!
  • Learning in pairs makes it easier to use session content back at your organization. Bring a colleague and save $55 on the second registration. Both participants must be registered at the same time, for the same seminar, and the discount will be automatically applied.

*Wear Jeans with a purpose on Wednesday, April 25! Wearing jeans on Denim Day has become a symbol of protest against erroneous and destructive attitudes about sexual assault. In this rape prevention education campaign, we ask community members, elected officials, businesses and students to make a social statement with their fashion by wearing jeans on this day as a visible means of protest against the misconceptions that surround sexual assault.
