Ways to engage people in the direct care experience and as quality improvement partners will be showcased including addressing the Opioid Epidemic. Practical tools and tips that help others build strong partnerships with those receiving mental health services and their families will be shared. Webinar Objectives:
Mary Minniti, CPHQ is the Senior Policy and Program Specialist at the Institute for Patient- and Family-Centered Care (IPFCC). She provides onsite training and technical assistance to health care organizations, develops publications and resources, and serves as faculty for IPFCC’s seminars and conferences. As a certified professional in health care quality, she has extensive experience managing organizational change in hospital, clinic, and community settings. Over the past 18 years, she has found meaningful ways to integrate patient and family advisors into clinical and operational improvement efforts. She has led lean events, cross-regional clinical improvement projects as well as served as the Quality Director in a multi-specialty medical group. In that role, she created effective strategies to integrate patients and families in patient-centered medical home implementations.
