Dr. K Drenkard

Karen N. Drenkard, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN
 SVP/Chief Clinical Officer/Chief Nurse
The O'Neil Center at GetWellNetwork Inc.

Join us on December 14 as Dr. Karen Drenkard discusses the Interactive Care Model (ICM), which was published in the October 2015 issue of the Journal of Nursing Administration. Developed by researchers, reviewed by clinical experts and informed by feedback from clinicians and patients from several major health systems, the ICM provides a process model to deliver care in a more person-centric, interprofessional way.

During this webinar, you’ll learn:

  1. How the new model describes the interactions between providers and people in all care settings

  2. The five phases of interactive care.

  3. A newly developed instrument, the Person Engagement Index (PEI), which assesses a person’s capacity to be engaged in their care.

Registered Nurses attending this event will receive one (1) continuing education (CE) credit issued by RN.com.
