Tammie Carlisle,  Milestone Internet Marketing

Tammie is an 18 + year hospitality industry veteran. She brings an extensive hospitality sales and marketing background to Milestone and is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships for Milestone with hospitality clients and industry associations in the US.  A frequent speaker at Digital Marketing events, Tammie finds unique digital marketing solutions for her clients that help them consistently grow their market share and outperform their competitors.

Prior to joining the Milestone team, Tammie was a Milestone client for five years as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Silicon Valley Hotels.  Tammie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from University of California Santa Cruz.

Kelsey Miller, Corporate Director of Digital Marketing, Woodside Hotel Group 

Kelsey joined the travel industry after graduating from the University of Washington in 2003. She now directs digital marketing at Woodside Hotel Group, a 10-hotel management company based out of Menlo Park. Kelsey has enjoyed other roles at Concur Technologies, Expedia, Tambourine, and was part of the Amazon Destinations travel team in 2015.

   

Tomo Kakegawa, Corporate Director of Revenue & Digital Marketing, Access Hospitality

Tomo Kakegawa is the Corporate Director of Revenue Management and Digital Marketing at Access Hotels & Resorts.  He specializes in dynamic revenue strategy combining with his digital marketing knowledge.

Tomo has over 15 years of revenue management experience working with different hotel brands including Sofitel, Radisson, Best Western, Choice, and various boutique hotels.  He started involved in digital marketing strategy early in revenue management career and holds both Revenue management and Digital Marketing title since 2014.

Tomo has the passion in rebranding and renovating hotels, and was involved in the renovations of Hotel Kabuki, Hotel Tomo, Hotel Erwin, Hotel Maya, Custom Hotel, Hotel Figueroa, Hotel Spero. He is excited to lead rebranding strategy at The Marker San Francisco in 2021.

Tomo received his master’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.


Kumiko

Kumiko Shafer, Director of Customer Success, North America & LATAM, Revinate.

Kumi Shafer is the Director of Customer Success for North America and LATAM at Revinate, a tech company supporting the hospitality industry with awesome platforms for guest feedback and email marketing/CRM. Prior to joining Revinate, she spent 12 years in hotels, most recently as the director of global sales for the Pan Pacific Hotel Group. As a customer success professional, Kumi ensures the success team can not only deliver on but also exceed customer expectations on a daily basis. Her passions revolve around building amazing, long-lasting relationships, personally and professionally, and affecting positive change whenever possible. 

Outside of work, Kumi is an avid landscape photographer who nerds out on shutter speeds, aperture, and ISO. This hobby has recently taken a back seat to the very demanding and rewarding job of being a mom to a 3-year-old boy, who has now taken center-stage in all her photos.
