Steve Altman with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources – Office of Water Resources providing details of the state of Illinois Floodplain/Floodway permit program including information on T&E Species coordination.
Gary Bingenheimer with the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency will also talk on state criteria for water/wastewater projects including funding through the State Revolving Fund program.
Stasi Brown with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Chicago District will cap the regulatory portion of the seminar with a discussion on the federal Section 404 permitting program in the Chicago area.
Finally, we will hear from Tom Davis with Dynegy on a recent case study of their Vermilion River Stabilization project that acquired state and federal permits.
