Please note that this will be the only offering of the Cable User Group Meeting in 2017.
This subject meeting invites its members, researchers, cable manufacturer’s and service providers the opportunity to directly interact and share cable aging management implementation issues, best practices, research needs, and operating experiences during the roundtable. Updates are provided on on-going research (submergence qualification, cable polymer handbook development) or recently completed research (Low Voltage Wet Aging). Presentations are given by industry experts (low voltage aging mechanisms), members (recently completed plant adverse local environment walkdown results), IEEE standard updates (environmental qualification), etc.
A tour of the NEETRAC facility is scheduled.
Provide members an opportunity to share and hear firsthand developing industry issues on cable aging management implementation, stay abreast of EPRI and other research initiatives, increase technical knowledge on cables and cable related items (cable and accessory design, qualification and testing), and provide EPRI feedback or input on current and future proposed research.
Who Should Attend: Utility personnel responsible for cable aging management, cable researchers, manufacturer's and vendors who supply materials and services to the nuclear power industry and regulatory personnel who oversee the implementation of cable aging management programs.
