The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) and Duke Energy (Duke) invite you to the 2014 EPRI Smart Distribution and Power Quality Conference and Exhibition in Charlotte, North Carolina on July 14-16. The conference will focus on how utilities are defining the future of the grid by addressing the challenges of today. The conference will provide a forum for electric power end users, distribution engineers and project managers, reliability and power quality professionals, and related technology manufacturers to gather, share experiences, and learn from one another in a collaborative environment. The week of events will also include pre-conference tutorials or EPRI lab tours. In addition, two post-conference tours of Duke facilities will be offered. The areas of focus for the 2014 conference will be the following: Power Quality Cyber Security Distribution Grid Modernization Information and Communications Technology
Conference Agenda Who Should Attend: Utilities, industry representatives, and electric power end users are invited to participate in the 2014 EPRI Smart Distribution and Power Quality Conference by sharing their unique perspectives on the importance of the areas of focus. Conference presentations and discussions will inform participants of the applications and challenges related to smart power delivery systems, power quality, cyber security, grid modernization, and communications technologies.
