Essential Guide to Fitness and Health
We know the importance of good health, but how do we achieve it? How do we maintain health through the years with changes in our bodies and lifestyles and as we encounter obstacles to physical activity and good nutrition?
Essential Guide to Fitness and Health will provide answers to what it means to be fit, active, and healthy. Participants will learn specific assessments to help identify current fitness levels and chart progress. The program discusses proper nutrition, setting goals to help increase overall wellness, and how to customize aerobic activities, resistance training, and stretching into a comprehensive exercise program.

Participants will be able to:
• Learn specific assessments to identify their current fitness level
• Use fitness assessments to chart progress
• Understand essentials of aerobic, resistance, and flexibility training
• Learn about proper nutrition
• Set goals to increase overall wellness
• Understand motivators that can lead to success or failure
