Essentials for the internal auditor

Internal auditors build RTO capacity to deliver training that is high quality, industry relevant, learner focussed, and compliant. This program relates the work of internal auditors to the expectations of external auditors so that you can incorporate their perspectives into your work.

The program is facilitated by an experienced auditor who encourages lively discussion and collaborative activities. It delivers a practical understanding of how to interpret and apply the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015, and how to plan and prepare for internal and external audits.

  • A training and assessment strategy for one qualification and the packaging rules for that qualification (from the training package)

  • One unit of competency (from the strategy for training and assessment)

  • Training and assessment materials for the unit of competency
