The annual eTwinning conference will take place in Lisbon on 14, 15 and 16 March 2013. It will award top European projects and bring together more than 500 teachers from across the Continent to discuss impact eTwinning has through School collaboration on citizenship.
The eTwinning conference showcases the strong commitment of teachers to open their classrooms and let Europe enter in their work. This will be addressed in Keynote speeches delivered by Professor R.H. (Bob) Fryer CBE, – UK.
One of the highlights of the conference is awarding of the eTwinning Prizes. This year there are nine prizes, 6 special category prizes and 3 main categories based on the age of the pupils. In addition to the prize ceremony, the work of conference will concentrate on sharing good practice, exploring the idea of the future classroom and fostering the eTwinning community, through workshops, interactive session and informal meetings.
In its sixth year, eTwinning continues to grow from strength to strength. Now involving almost 200,000 registered teachers across Europe; the Action has affirmed its ever-important role in shaping a European space for education.Follow the conference on Twitter: #etwconf2013
