This course will provide an understanding of the importance of evidence for the advancement of healthcare practice, improvement of varied outcomes, and advancement of the healthcare disciplines. The course will focus on the current urgency of evidence application to practice, and will provide a hands on illustration of how to appraise, summarize and translate evidence to support recommendations for quality clinical practice.
Military healthcare professionals interested in research and evidence based practice including those with limited or no research or evidence based practice experience or training. This is a DoD approved course.
Projected up to 11.75 hours for full 2-day course session
Projected up to 2.0 hours for 2 hour "All Hands Session" only
