MUSIC THERAPISTS: Please Note
✢ According to the Certification Board for Music Therapists, relevant sessions attended at the Expressive Therapies Summit can be claimed as "non-approved" educational courses toward continuing music therapy education credits (CMTE). Please refer to the recertification requirements regarding Board Certification domains, documentation required, and related information.
DRAMA THERAPISTS: Please Note
✢ According to the North American Drama Therapy Association (NADTA), continuing education credits in drama therapy and/or mental health, creative arts therapies, psychology and psychological process, diversity and social and cultural foundations, supervision, research and evaluation earned through this event can be applied toward the continuing education requirement for maintaining the RDT or RDT/BCT.
DANCE/MOVEMENT THERAPISTS: Please Note
✢ According to the Dance/Movement Therapy Certification Board (DMTCB), relevant sessions attended may be applied toward continuing education requirements earned at this event. Please refer to the Recertification Requirements for R-DMT and BC-DMT for guidelines and related information.
[Please Note: NBCC credit is not available to presenters, only participants. Presenters may attend other sessions presented by other people for credit, however, they may not receive credit for teaching. If the presenter is an NCC, they can submit their presentation hours for their NCC recertification if they are audited, but credit is not guaranteed.]
Commonwealth Educational Seminars (CES) is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to offer continuing education credit programs. CES maintains responsibility for this program. Psychologists earn 1 hour of CE credit for each clock hour of training.
MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPISTS
Commonwealth Educational Seminars (CES) can grant continuing education credit to Marriage & Family Therapists in the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IN, IA, KS, ME, MD, MO, MT, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NC, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WI, WY. CES maintains responsibility for these programs. Marriage and Family therapists completing this program will receive continuing education hours of credit.
Available only to licensed mental health practitioners or full-time graduate students in a graduate mental health program
NOTE: Only those sessions specifically designated for APT credits (below the session description on the Summit schedule pages) are eligible for APT credits.

CERTIFIED CHILD LIFE SPECIALISTS: Please Note
* For Certified Child Life Specialists (CCLSs), hours may be applied toward recertification if session content is related to the Exam Content Outline and a certificate of attendance is obtained. Professional Development Units (PDUs) are earned based on 1 educational contact hour = 1 PDU.
