During a Playback performance, audience volunteers are asked to describe stories from their lives. In response, Playback actors empathically and respectfully improvise using movement, song, dance, and spoken word to create a focused, yet multilayered, embodied narrative that represents the heart of the storytellers’ experiences.Playback Theatre is used in over 60 countries for education, dialogue, conflict transformation and community building as well as performance. Join us for an exciting and enlightening evening—and learn how Playback Theater can help participants attain broadened perspectives and deeper insight related to any issue or theme.*And look for the special master class on Playback Theatre being offered at the Summit on Sunday, April 25—no acting experience required.
