IN YOUR OWN WORDS
Quotes from Previous Summit Evaluations

I came here wanting to learn and yearning to be inspired, and that’s exactly what I got.

— The Summit was a restorative experience, reminding me of the power of the work we do.

The Summit was worth every minute and dollar I spent.
I learned, met like-minded people, and enjoyed myself 100%.

— The Summit was amazing and life-changing for me.
A great balance of information and experientials.
I have been raving about it ever since.

— A great way to get more information about the field,
especially being an undergraduate student. It is a very welcoming place.

— This was an awesome day. We played. We laughed. We cried. We learned.
Who could ask for anything more?

I feel refueled, and can't wait to apply some of the ideas that were shared.
Reminds me why I chose to be a creative arts therapist.

Peace sign gals

— As a graduate student, I could participate in workshops led by top professionals
in all of the expressive arts. I am excited and proud to be joining this field.

— The BEST (and best organized) conference I've ever been to.
Varied in its offerings and responsible with its content...it fulfilled its promises.

— So much dynamic energy and passion gathered in one place!
Much more inspirational than a hotel setting.

A breath of fresh air in conferences: Excellent speakers, staff, facilities.

I learned valuable information that will enhance my 30 years of practice.
The afterglow remains, as I continue to feel the positive effects of being there.

— ETS is an exciting, jam-packed meet-up of our extended professional family.
Is it 'legal' to have so much fun? Can't wait for next year!

— Soul fulfilling! Thank you for an incredible experience as a presenter.
I want to come back every year!

STRONGER TOGETHER
(our slogan since 2010)

That has been our guiding principle in creating the Expressive Therapies Summit. After a half century of working in parallel process, it's time for us to gather and learn from each other, and work collaboratively toward the success of all the expressive arts therapies. Together, we are stronger!

CREATIVE and EXPRESSIVE

We refer to ourselves variously: Creative Arts Therapists, Arts Psychotherapists, Expressive Therapists. We are all of these, and more. Not only do we help others, we do so creatively, using one or more of the fine and performing arts. Not limiting ourselves to a single muse or treatment model, we enable others to express their innermost selves, regardless of age, language, or ability.

ALL THIS . . . and . . . NEW YORK CITY, TOO!

So, here's our chance to inspire and learn from each other, relax, and recharge in America's most arts-centric city.
