Peer discussion is an important CET requirement for optometrists and this facilitator training event will give you the skills to be able to confidently facilitate peer discussions. The training will include an overview of the accreditation process, College guidance and the current GOC requirements.

You will receive training on the role of the facilitator, core facilitation skills and best practice and tips on personal impact and effectiveness. During the afternoon you will work in small groups to put into practice the knowledge you have learnt during the day using a case study. You will gain feedback from trainers on the group work.

You will gain 9 interactive CET points by attending the event.

Register now for just £45.00

To attend this event you must be a fully qualified optometrist and member of the College.

At the end of the day you will have the opportunity to sign up to facilitate discussions at future College events.

Priority will be given to members who are new to facilitation or who have never done any facilitation training previously. However, if you are already a facilitator and would like a refresher course please do get in touch by emailing events@college-optometrists.org
