Research shows that reflection about experience allows for better learning than simply the experience alone. If one of our goals is to produce reflective students who learn from their classroom experiences, perhaps the best way to teach reflection is to model it: faculty members who model reflective practice in their teaching offer good examples for students to use reflective practice in their learning. In this session, we will explore many examples and uses of reflective practice for both classroom use and professional development.
