Falls are the #1 cause of fatalities in construction, and Ohio has been affected by this reality through recent incidents. In support of OSHA’s Stop Falls Campaign, LJB Inc. is hosting a free, special fall prevention and protection training specific to bridge construction.
The half-day training session will include a short presentation on fall protection for bridge construction, including best practices, lessons learned and how to apply regulations and standards. The event will also include a live demonstration of fall protection systems by Reliance Industries – a manufacturer and designer of fall protection equipment that has significant experience creating and installing temporary horizontal lifelines onto TxDOT bridges during construction.
Attendees can earn 0.3 CEUs (3 PDHs) for participation in this training event. Lunch will also be provided.
Please plan to join LJB on Thursday, November 17 to learn more about prevention and protection techniques that minimize fall risk.
Please note that more than one person from an organization can attend, and you can forward this invitation directly through this email or within the registration section. Please share this free educational opportunity with any colleagues that you feel could benefit from this information.
