Fatigue-in-Healthcaree-banner

Are you running on empty? A growing number of healthcare professionals are suffering from sleep deprivation. Shift work and long hours cause irregular sleep schedules that are often further disrupted by the demands of personal life. And even though fatigue can have negative impacts on job performances, learning about the importance of sleep is often neglected.

Jefferson alumnus Karl Doghramji, MD ’80, Professor and Director of Jefferson Sleep Disorders Center, will discuss the prevalence and impact of fatigue in healthcare, as well as provide useful information and tips on its identification, prevention and management.
