We invite you to join the Food & Culinary Professionals Dietetic Practice Group for this three-day event in the Napa Valley where we will explore food, nutrition and culinary mastery.
The program will include lectures, presentations, tastings, and hands-on culinary activities - and concurrent session options.
This workshop provides greater opportunities to learn and master.
You'll spend one day at the Embassy Suites Hotel, participating in lectures, tastings and your choice of concurrent sessions. The second day you'll enjoy the Ramekins Culinary Events Center in Sonoma and hands-on activities.
We have optional pre-workshop and evening activities!
You won’t want to miss this opportunity to expand your culinary knowledge, skills, and competencies; network with colleagues from across the country; and earn valuable Continuing Professional Education Units.
We’ll begin on Thursday, March 2nd with optional events, including a recipe nutrient analysis optional workshop and an olive oil farm tour. Our evening begins with a keynote session presented by Ti Martin (Commander's Palace) and our evening reception at the Napa Embassy Suites.
On Friday, March 3rd, half of the group will travel to Sonoma for a day at Ramekins, the other half will stay at the Embassy Suites.
On Saturday, the schedule repeats with each group changing places.
The workshop concludes at the end of the day on Saturday.
There is an optional hands-on dinner event both Friday and Saturday evening.
We anticipate that this workshop will have over 22 hours CPEU available.
