Gale Monahan is a member of Denton's Government Contracts Department where he focuses on all aspects of Government Contracts counseling and litigation. Mr. Monahan represents government contractors in traditional contract disputes, in claims against the government at the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals, in bid protests before the GAO and the Court of Federal Claims, and in False Claims Act investigations and litigation. Mr. Monahan also counsels clients in the areas of cost and pricing and domestic preference compliance requirements, including the Buy American Act, the Trade Agreements Act and the Balance of Payments Program. Mr. Monahan is a board member for the National Contract Management Association-Denver Chapter and a faculty member for the Public Contracting Institute’s FAR Cost Principles webinar series. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Monahan served as an officer in both the US Air Force and US Army.
Steve Masiello is a Partner with Dentons. Steven M. Masiello’s practice focuses on client counseling and litigation concerning federal, state and commercial contracts, technology agreements and related regulatory matters. He represents both large and small companies across diverse industries including aerospace and defense, construction and engineering services, information technology, health care, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and renewable energy. Mr. Masiello possesses extensive experience assisting clients with government contract cost accounting, cost allowability and contract estimating and pricing matters. Specifically, he advises clients on resolving audit findings and disputes arising out of the Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Cost Principles in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and OMB Circulars and the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA). Additionally, he handles client bid protest concerns, equitable adjustment or breach of contract claims, reverse-Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) cases, intellectual property (patents, software and data rights) matters and other contract and regulatory disputes.
