This webinar, the second of a two part series on selected cost principles, will discuss the allowability of selling costs, bid and proposal (B&P) costs, independent research and development (IR&D) costs, and related costs incurred during the performance of a government contract. Contractors frequently face challenges from government auditors and contracting officers concerning the allowability these costs. Thus, the purpose of this webinar is to provide an in-depth analysis of common situations that arise regarding these cost principles and to discuss recent trends in government enforcement/interpretation of these cost principles. The webinar will conclude with a discussion of contractor best practices for establishing the allowability of these costs and overcoming audit challenges in these areas.
