Situational Awareness, or the lack of it, is a consistent series of factors that leads to the success or failure of an emergency incident. In this program, we will focus on scene size-up and the fire officer's responsibilities. The key topics to be presented will include; what to look for, what to do, how to anticipate ahead of your incident, and being prepared for the expected as well as the unexpected.
