The First World Conference on Tourism for Development will be held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, China over the period of 18-21 May 2016. The theme of the conference will be “Tourism for Peace and Development”.
The opening ceremony, closing ceremony and conference will take place at the Great Hall of People in Beijing.
At the centre of the First World Conference on Tourism for Development will be three key global leadership engagement forums deemed vital to the potential of Tourism as a driver of Development, all to be held on 19 May 2016.
Conference materials will be available in English and Chinese, while simultaneous interpretation during the conference will be provided in six languages: English, French, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Arabic.
On 20 May 2016, the closed and by invitation only 7th G.20 Tourism Ministers´ Meeting will take place.
Finally, on 21 May 2016, the host country China offers Technical Visits for international participants registered.
