Dr. Prasanna Krishnasamy

Cary Fardal, RDN, LD – Cary has been a Registered Dietitian for 9 years. She started her career as a Clinical Dietitian at the Oregon State Hospital where she had many roles in the Nutrition Services department. Most of her time was focused on supporting residents with chronic illnesses, including individuals with both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, on lifestyle and behavior change to improve their health and well-being. Cary is now the Statewide Nutrition Education Coordinator for the Oregon Food Bank where she supports partner organizations around the state of Oregon and Clark County, Washington who offer Cooking Matters™ in their communities. She loves living in Oregon and spending time outside with her family mostly skiing, biking and hiking, and teaches group fitness classes several days a week.
